At the 2026 Concours Mondial de Bruxelles, the Barbera d'Asti Il Risveglio del Ceppo 2023 won the Gran Medaglia d'Oro. This recognition makes us proud, but for us, it speaks to something even greater.
Years ago, a research and recovery project began to safeguard the genetic heritage of ancient Barbera vineyards that were at risk of being lost. From that vision, Il Risveglio del Ceppo was born: a Barbera d'Asti rooted in history and looking to the future.
Today, this award celebrates more than just a wine: it celebrates the belief that what seems destined to disappear may still have much to say.

Anni fa è iniziato un progetto di ricerca e recupero per salvaguardare il patrimonio genetico di antiche vigne di Barbera che rischiava di andare perduto. Da quella visione è nato Il Risveglio del Ceppo: una Barbera d'Asti che affonda le proprie radici nella storia e guarda al futuro.

Oggi questo premio non celebra soltanto un vino: celebra la scelta di credere che ciò che sembra destinato a scomparire possa ancora avere molto da raccontare.
